Special Events

The team at The Bull love a party, so you will find regular jazz nights, featuring local celebrities, the Jazz Advocates and Javajam, enlivening the restaurant and bar.  Live piano sessions and opera nights also add an air of sophistication and fun.

The Bull marks national celebrations, such as Burns Night and St. Georges Day and hosts a D-Day dinner – the latter two feature an 100% English menu, with traditional ingredients and dishes.  Themed nights, such as Friday Fish Night, also break up the calendar.

Originals in Pencil

The Bull Hotel is delighted to welcome the artwork of Victoria Ballard.  Victoria, a local mum of two, is a self-taught artist and specialises in the unusual style of pencil drawings on painted board.  Victoria is displaying 11 pieces in total, capturing the heart and soul of her favourite subjects – children and animals.  Have a look at Victoria’s work and read more about the exhibition.  Press release.
