Here it is! The new Michelin Guide 2016 and we are pleased to announce that we’ve made the cut again for our mighty tasty food!
It’s been a great year for The Bull, starting with the launch of the new smokehouse menu back in May. This has allowed our customers the option of a more informal dining experience alongside to our fine dining restaurant.
Summer was packed with alfresco diners enjoying our craft beers, extensive wine list and the new smokehouse menu, whilst listening to the variety of our live music acts, from New Orleans jazz to soulful blues. The courtyard became a ‘hub’ for families and friends to get together and enjoy the British summertime.
Guests have been also enjoying the a la carte restaurant with the finest and freshest dishes all year round, with many diners choosing to celebrate milestones in their family lives
We have expanded our team to welcome Lewis Lowdell as chef de partie and Sally and Colin as new restaurant front of house team members.
On top of this, we have thoroughly enjoyed the weddings we have held here this year, from small and intimate ceremonies to big and lively receptions. The feedback we have received has been amazing and we are very much looking forward to the up and coming weddings, each different and unique to the bride and groom.
Now with 2015 coming to a close, we are anticipating a very busy Christmas, again full of friends, family and colleagues celebrating together with fine food and great entertainment, from award – winning magicians, to 80’s themed nights!

The smokehouse menu is a festival of high quality meat all cooked low and slow over English charcoal and wood by our 2AA Rosette and Michelin listed chefs. An all year round love affair of meat and artisan beers. Served everyday, lunch and dinner, all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Read details and see a sample menu.
