For the second year running we were brimming with pride to discover we were finalists in two categories at the coveted Kent Wedding Awards 2020:

Boutique Venue of the Year
Wedding Planner of the Year

 

The Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony, oozing with glamour and glitz, was the perfect opportunity to relish in the achievements of a wonderful year of weddings. As we arrived on the red carpet, dressed in our best, we were honoured to be a part of such a celebration. We felt privileged to be amongst a network of hard-working professionals that all have the same end-goal and all clearly LOVE what they do! We only wished that the entire team ‘Bull Hotel’ could have been with us to soak up the atmosphere.

After a beautifully served lavish dinner, and one or two glasses of bubbly, we were ready and raring for the awards to commence. A nervous energy began to grow in the room, which was expertly transformed to laughter by our new favourite comedian who did a fabulous job of announcing all of the winners. We became friends and supporters of the other suppliers sat around our table, whooping and cheering for their categories. It felt great to see our name up there with other Wedding Planner nominees.

 

The Bull Hotel is announced as winner

After a tense wait, we finally heard the announcement for Boutique Wedding Venue of the Year. We couldn’t quite believe it when ‘The Bull Hotel’ was pronounced WINNER. Especially knowing the reputation of the competitors who we were up against. We couldn’t stop laughing in a race to get to the stage and get our hands on a very elegant trophy.

The five of us were over the moon and couldn’t wait to share the news with the whole team back at The Bull.

 

 

It is an amazing end to a wonderful year of weddings!

To us, the award is recognition that to be successful in the wedding industry you have to show that you can do that little bit extra, be a little bit more creative and definitely love what you do. Now we have to find somewhere to display our award so that all our team know how they contribute to making us a winning Boutique Venue and the BEST IN KENT!!

Their trust in our work enabled our team to do their job and deliver beautiful celebrations enjoyed by hundreds of guests. We also thank the committed wedding team, our friendly suppliers and ‘A Kentish Ceremony’.
