Written by Alison Pollard-Mansergh, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience began in 1997 at the Rydges Hotel in Brisbane. Since then, it has been seen by over one million people worldwide in 43 countries. The show had its first London performance in 2009 with a sold-out weekend in Covent Garden, followed by summer seasons. In 2012, it opened its first West End residency at the Charing Cross Hotel, which became a record-breaking 10-year run. In 2022, it moved to the President Hotel in Bloomsbury where it continues its record-breaking run.
Over the years, the show has toured to over 1,000 venues, performed approximately 400 shows annually across the UK, and entertained celebrities such as Andrew Sachs, John McEnroe, and Joe Cole. It celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022 and continues to receive rave reviews for its dynamic, interactive format that pays homage to the classic sitcom.

Here’s the plan for the evening
- You will arrive from 7 to 7.30pm to get drinks from the bar and for a prompt performance start of 7.30pm.
- We must warn you that any late comers may not be admitted.
- Due to the nature of the performance the menu is the same for all guests.
- You will be served a three-course meal consisting of tomato & basil soup, a Christmas turkey roast with all the trimmings and to finish, a chocolate Nemesis cake.
- We can accommodate any vegetarian/vegan guests or any contact allergies but we must be made aware of these on booking. If we are not informed in advance, we cannot guarantee that we can cater for you on the night.
- You will receive an email link to pre-order drinks for your party as the bar must close during some sections of the show and there will be no staff on the floor. Please choose from the options what drinks you would like ready at your table and a member of staff will be in contact to take payment for these in the 2 weeks before the show.
- We ask that upon booking you include the names of all guests attending under your party in the booking notes as there will be a seated table plan for your comfort.
- Full £85pp deposit required.
