Family meals in a cosy inn

At the end of the day, what we all really like is a cosy and festively decorated pub·for festive family meals. The cosiness, the chit-chat, the murmur of the guests in the air, the feels-so-good food and a pint… This is what The Bull is all about when the temperature goes down; with wood-burning fires, sink-in velvety sofas and our all-cooked-in-house festive menu.

 

Private dining room

Groups looking for a bit of privacy will love the round table for up to 12 guests in the private dining room, where three generations will fit perfectly for a Sunday lunch. This is also a space to indulge a group of work colleagues or VIP clients with an impressive, cooked-to-perfection festive menu – perhaps with matching wines crowned by an artisan cheese board and Port.

 

Jingle & Mingle

Our pop-up festive barn – The Buttery – will accommodate your group to ‘jingle & mingle’. Sit down meals, buffets, drinks and nibbles, DJ or in-house live guitarist – just name it. The events team will organise this year’s Christmas do in high style, with dedicated staff, full stocked bar and an amazing food and drink selection. With capacity for 20, 30, 50, or up to 100 guests, the pop-up festive barn will be yours, with exclusivity.

 

11 ensuite bedrooms

Car park spaces are never a problem at The Bull, we have plenty and they are free. Now, if you really don’t want to even think about getting back home after partying, then stay in one of our 11 ensuite bedrooms and enjoy a restorative farmhouse cooked-to-order full English breakfast… “Oh dear, this is the Christmas I was dreaming of for this year!”.

 

Opera & Magic special evenings

For those of you who are in the ‘let’s do something different this year’ mood, you are in the right place. There are four very different dine and entertainment evenings at The Bull that will tick the boxes. A magical opera night with virtuoso high mezzo soprano Kathleen Linton-Ford; the specialist in close-up slight magic, Adam Smith; and Java Jive, the contagious duo with their cool 1930’s songs with a vintage vibe. Resident guitarist Paul Malsom will also be playing background rock, blues and jazz, with some Christmas numbers thrown in for good measure, every Friday from 7pm.

 

Nine-course tasting menu experience

It is indulgent but it is so worth it! Start getting in the Christmas mood with this nine-course tasting menu with nine wines to match. Saturday 25th November 7pm, £150pp
