The Bull is a traditional rural retreat that has been recently restored to reveal richly beamed walls and ceilings, stunning fireplaces and oak floors.
All eleven rooms have en-suite facilities, central heating, TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee facilities. There are four-poster, king size, double, twin and single rooms and our excellent cooked to order breakfast is served everyday.
The refurbishment has preserved (and in some cases unearthed) many more of the original features of the 14th century former inn, and been married with every modern facility, to create a cosy country hotel and gourmet dining destination in the heart of Kent. Gnarled and uneven oak floors were uncovered and renovated, original fireplaces (that had languished behind chipboard since the 1960s) were revealed, and the local building team helped unearth a secret wall.
Each of the 11 bespoke interiors has been individually designed by Martin Deadman with heritage paints balanced with rich and lavish Laura Ashley wallpaper and soft furnishings. The tranquil location of the former country inn, in the heart of historic Wrotham village, has been further enhanced with blackout blinds and sound proofing between the first and second floors.
